About
I am Puma Ghostwalker, a naturalist and conservationist. I have a list of goals that I would like to pursue, finishing my life giving back.I teach Botany, Mycology, Geology and Paleontology for the Boy Scouts of America as a volunteer at Pouch Camp in New York City; saying this, I have found complete joy teaching young children about our natural world. I should mention that I also teach survival training with wild foods and Bee Keeping. Bee keeping is still illegal in New Your City as of the posting 11-23-09 Please sign the petition to help make it legal.
As I set out to hike the Appalachian Trail In Spring 2011 (a much needed break from twenty years in the city) I made the decision to do it for charity. So starting in March 2011,I will begin my journey for The March of Dimes and a few other organizations. My goal and message is,"We still need to give back." Although it’s a bad economy and we suffer so in it, many more suffer pain that we could never know...
I’m not trying to save the world,I’m just trying to help. Together we can do it!
With all my love,

NYC Bee Conservation Project
A few years back I started the New York City Bee Conservation Project. My goal is to educate the public about world overpopulation, and how important bee pollination in the massive agriculture market is.
Our natural world cannot sustain a human population of seven billion and growing. If we lose the bees to C.C.D. Colony Collapse Disorder……That would really be a tragedy. The New York City Bee Conservations goal is to put bee hives in every city park with placards informing the public in the beauty and necessity of the honey bee’s survival.
